demonstration videos

These simple youtube demonstrations illustrate the key materials needed to create laminated panels and the method by which they are produced.

Materials used for vacuum pressing:  Flexible plywood, birch plywood, styrofoam mould (see our Styromould page), PVA adhesive and a Pizzi glue spreader

Applying the adhesive to the flexible core and inner and outer birch plywood layers.

Placing the layers onto the mould and into the frame press for evacuation.  Note the placement of the breather fabric which creates an air passage.

THE CNC HOT WIRE CUTTER

We use a CNC Hot Wire Cutter to cut high density extruded polystyrene for all the moulds we use in-house . We have a Styromould making service to enable our customers to maximise the use of their Bagpress by having competitively priced skinned and based moulds manufactured to their exact specification.
